Position: Haskell Blockchain developer (cryptography / blockchain / smart contracts)

Description:

zkFold is developing solutions for blockchains and Web3. We apply zero-knowledge cryptography to build state-of-the-art blockchain infrastructure and smart contract development tools. Our team consists of talented Haskell and Rust developers with a strong math and computer science background, including several PhDs.

We currently have several open positions. You will be implementing new cryptographic algorithms as well as developing smart contracts, working on real-world blockchain applications related to fintech and the banking industry, and contributing to our open-source developer tools and infrastructure products.

An ideal candidate is a person who is motivated to study cryptographic protocols, blockchain architecture, and principles of smart contract development in-depth, who can work independently between the team syncs, and who can accurately estimate and deliver on the assigned tasks.

Your responsibilities

• Develop high-quality code, contributing to one or several of our products;
• Build demos, benchmarks, and new product prototypes;
• Integrate novel cryptographic algorithms into our codebase;
• Write documentation according to the best standards and practices for open
  source development.

Requirements

• Excellent knowledge of Haskell
• Strong math / computer science background
• Ability to write high-quality code
• Familiarity with best practices in functional programming
• Familiarity with blockchain technology

Desired qualifications (any of these would be a plus)

• Experience with Rust
• Experience in developing cryptographic libraries
• Experience in blockchain and smart contract development
• Experience in developing peer-to-peer communication protocols or decentralized infrastructure products
